2012 may have been the best year for movies in the past decade, so naturally when a year ends, a movie buff like myself looks onto the next year in hopes it will be just as great.

In 2012 we had mind blowing films like “Prometheus”, “Django Unchained” and “Les Misérables”. It’s hard to top such original and enchanting films like these. 

Obviously, this year was a momentous year in cinema and not every year is going to be as amazing, but I can’t help but wonder which films in 2013 will stand out.

These are the films I’m most looking forward to in 2013, in order of their release date. My absolute most anticipated film comes out November 22, 2013 and stars a little known actress named Jennifer Lawrence.
